Trust for Credit Unions

What is HyperDrive?

Our CUSO is constantly looking for ways to help drive more activity to your lending pipeline.  In 2014, we are rolled out a new service called HyperDrive.  HyperDrive capitalizes on the tricks of the trade we have learned through several years of executing effective lending campaigns.  HyperDrive is a series of targeted, turn-key, lending-centric marketing campaigns that leverage CU*BASE tools and Xtend resources.  We combine data mining expertise, our XT Direct loan lead process, electronic communication tools and a group of talented call center agents to drive loan leads to your underwriters.   In short, we provide a cost-effective “Xtension” of your lending team.

Xtend Announces First Premier Partner

Xtend, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, announced that Texas-based FI-Mobile, LLC has become the first participant in its Premier Partner program. According to Xtend President Scott Collins, the CUSO started the new program “to re-enforce our commitment to the business plans of our strategic partners through joint marketing and business development activities.”

Collins noted, “Over the past six months, our two teams have been brainstorming about how we can bring our collective value propositions to a wider audience of financial institutions. From an Xtend perspective, having FI-Mobile step forward to become our first Premier Partner was a validation that we had become a trusted execution partner. I look forward to their participation in our annual Stockholder events in June, and also introducing several joint initiatives to our owners at that time.”

Strong Second Quarter Numbers for Shared Resources CUSO

Xtend, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, recently announced the results of its second fiscal quarter to stockholders and clients. The results for the fiscal period, which ended on March 31st, reflected a continuation of the solid numbers posted during the company’s first quarter.

In his quarterly newsletter to stockholders, Xtend President Scott Collins wrote, “I am very pleased with the way our team has performed during the first half of our 2015 campaign. We came out of the gate fast during Q1, and then followed it up with an even stronger Q2. We are 5% ahead on our overall sales projections, we are on plan from an expense standpoint and we exceeded our revenue goals in all of our major brands. I am very satisfied with our position as we push toward the September 30th finish line.”

According to Collins, the CUSO experienced quarterly year-on-year growth in its Member Reach e-communication brand (+73%), its compliance monitoring practice (+46%), its Xtension call center (+26%) and its loan servicing unit (+4%). Collins concluded, “We continue to serve an industry that is in consolidation mode, especially from a merger standpoint, but as the numbers bear out, the demand for our products and services continues to be high. I am especially pleased with the strong performance in services that drive credit union income for our customer-owners. That is certainly a win-win.”
